Jahzarros’ / Bio

Jahzarro (born Carvel A. Robinson on April 10, 1965, in Spanish Town, Saint Catherine, Jamaica) is a celebrated reggae singer, songwriter, and percussionist. He first gained widespread recognition with his hit track “Tiki Fi Di Cox Man” released under the renowned Black Scorpio Label in Kingston.

Raised in Spanish Town until the age of 19, Jahzarro later moved to Drews Land and Waterhouse, where he developed a close friendship and creative partnership with fellow artist Raga Z. Together, they made a significant impact on the global reggae scene, earning acclaim for their authentic sound and powerful performances.

Jahzarro has performed at major venues such as the Emancipation Nation Arena in Kingston and has been featured in prominent Jamaican media, including the Jamaican Observer.

In 2019, Jahzarro launched his own record label, Carvel Records, marking a new chapter in his career. He also joined the influential indie platform Miami Musik Buzz (MMB Indie Radio), where he has consistently climbed the charts with popular releases like “Desert,” “Nuh Mistake,” “In The Streets” featuring Karen Brown, “Nah Give Up,” and “Take Off Your Mask.”

Jahzarro continues to be a vital force in reggae music, blending traditional roots with contemporary vibes to inspire audiences worldwide.
